Religious Freedom Peace Tax Fund
Legislation worthy of support letters. Would provide for conscientious objection to military taxation. Introduced to every Congress since 1972, it is gaining support. The H.R. or S. # changes every two years when new congresses are voted in, so check the site for correct legislation # to refer to.

National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee
Coalition of groups and individuals actively involved with war tax resistance, redirection, and peace taxpaying. Lists local and regional contacts and counselors.

War Resisters League
Since 1923, promoting peace and nonviolent action, supporting war tax resistance as an important tactic towards achieving these goals. Theory, resources, publications, downloadable fliers.

Fellowship of Reconciliation:
Interfaith peace organization, since 1915, has carried on programs and educational projects concerned with domestic and international peace and justice, nonviolent alternatives to conflict, the rights of conscience.

Quaker lobby for peace and social justice since 1943. Among other things, good info on military spending.

Center for Defense Information:
Military research organization; excellent source for military budget, programs.
