Dear IRS,

I agree 100% with our President Select, George W. Bush, that anyone who finances terrorist acts is just as guilty as the perpetrators. With this in mind, I conscientiously object to paying 50% of the income tax that reliable sources estimate is the amount the current regime in Washington is using to carry out its illegal, unconstitutional, immoral acts of premeditated murder of innocent people in Iraq and elsewhere.

In the past I helped to finance such terrorist acts as the overthrow and murder of Salvador Allende, the democratically elected president of Chile, the training of terrorists on US soil who then returned to countries in Central and South America to torture and kill the innocent, to subvert the spread of true democracy, etc., etc. I could go on for pages listing specific US government crimes which I am guilty of helping to finance, but it is just too painful. Enough is enough! As some wise person once said, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Also, all it takes for evil to succeed is for enough good men — and women — to do nothing. We have plenty of those in the US Congress, as well as the population at large.

Hopefully, there will be a regime change in Washington come 2004 and we will be done with the military/industrial/fundamentalist religious fanatic coup that now controls — the world! I look forward to once again having our tax contributions used for good rather than — I hate to use the term — evil.

Sincerely,

Richard Loerky
